Rules & scoring

An individual event: shoot the platter target mounted on a tall pole at a gallop.

  • Rounds: 2, with 2 targets each.
  • Target 1: 3 points if hit, 0 if missed.
  • Target 2: scores 0, 5, 8.
  • No consecutive-hit bonus.
  • Base time: 10 seconds
  • Hard cap: 12 seconds

Time bonus

The time bonus applies when the last target is hit.

  • Under 10 seconds — gain 1 bonus point for each second faster than 10. For example, 8 seconds gives +2 points.
  • Between 10 and 12 seconds — lose 1 point for each second over 10.
  • Over 12 seconds — the whole round scores 0, no matter how many targets were hit.
